Not only was the location incredibly convenient, within walking distance of major sites in South Mumbai, but the early check-in option at 9 am was a fantastic bonus. the hostel itself was housed in a beautifully preserved classic building, exuding charm and history. One aspect that stood out was the spacious and clean dorm room, a rarity in Mumbai hostels. the blend of old Bombay style with modern comforts was perfectly executed, creating a cozy and secure environment. the well-equipped kitchen and cozy common area added to the overall comfort of the stay. the morning chai delivery, along with the added touch of daily newspapers on the balcony, truly made the experience special. the location was ideal for exploring Fort, Colaba, and Marine Drive, with iconic eateries within walking distance. the friendly and helpful staff, especially Sudil, made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Hebbar's Heritage Home exceeded all my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai for an authentic and memorable experience.
